After spending two years studying Health Science at the University of Maastricht I graduated as an illustrative designer at the Art Academy in Utrecht. I kept my fascination for the body and mind, and worked as a multidisciplinary visual artist ever since.

My work draws people into my world through a combination of surprise and recognition. I work with contrasts: my drawings are either minimalist or meticulously intricate; my photographs are either strikingly clean or create order within chaos, often hiding subtle details and visual easter eggs waiting to be discovered.

I want my work to reward curiosity. The longer someone looks, the more there is to discover. Across every medium, I invite viewers to question familiar conventions and reconsider the assumptions that quietly shape the way we experience the world.
